1 RACE ORGANIZATION

Run Raisers (from Sweden) & AK Šibenik is co-organizing the 2nd edition of KRKA Ultra Challenge which will take place on 6 October, 2019.

 

2 GENERAL INFORMATION

KRKA Ultra Challenge is a multi-race competition that will take place on courses of various distances.

The purpose is to raise money for diabetes charity, which will go to support:

1. Type 1-diabetes research through the Swedish Child Diabetes Foundation (www.barndiabetesfonden.se)
2. Sport Camp for families with children suffering from Type 1-diabetes, to be organized in Skradin, June 2020

Both recreational enthusiasts & professional runners who achieve remarkable results in the field of trail-/road running can participate.

It is a one-day event designed to connect Skradin with other parts of the country as well as European tourists, to promote the beautiful nature & heritage of the Krka National Park, as well as the cultural & gastronomic environment of Skradin.

Everything associated with KRKA Ultra Challenge will contribute to Diabetes Charity (20% of entry fee, sponsors, accommodation, activities etc.)

  ”INSANE” 80 km:
• 81.2 km, with a total ascent/descent of 1519/1613 meters
• This route will award finishing participants 3 ITRA points
• The race starts at Monastery Krka, on Sunday October 6 @ 06:30 am
• 10 aid stations
• Time limit: 18 hours
• Surface is a mix between 77% trails (macadam/gravel/grass/stone) & 23% road (asphalt)
• ”CRAZY” 53 km:
• 53.2 km, with a total ascent/descent of 1085/1330 meter
• This route will award finishing participants 2 ITRA points
• The race starts nearby Popovici, on Sunday October 6 @ 10:00 am
• 7 aid stations
• Time limit: 12 hours
• Surface is a mix between 81% trails (macadam/gravel/grass/stone) & 19% road (asphalt)
• ”MAD” 27 km:
• 27.4 km, with a total ascent/descent of 703/779 meters
• The race starts in Roški Slap, on Sunday October 6 @ 11:00 am
• 5 aid stations
• Time limit: 8 hours.
• Surface is a mix between 85% trails (macadam/gravel/grass/stone) & 15% road (asphalt)
• ”HAPPY” 10 km:
• 10.2 km, with a total ascent/descent of 150/149 meters
• The race starts in Skradin city (outside NP Krka HQ), on Sunday October 6 @ 15:00 pm
• 2 aid stations
• Time limit: 3 hours
• Surface is a mix between 55% trails (macadam/gravel/grass/stone) & 45% road (asphalt)

3 REGISTRATIONS

Registrations can be done in any the following two (2) alternatives:

1. Register & pay entry fee on www.KrkaUltra.com 
2. Register on stotinka.hr & pay entry fee according to below ”Payment Procedure”

 

For registrations after September 20 we cannot guarantee your personal name on Race Bib.

Note! A registration is not complete until the participant transfers the defined amount of the entry fee at the bank account of the organizers.

Latest one week before race start every participant will receive a Race PM per email, containing all necessary information!

The registration fees include the following:

Registration fees shall be paid to the account of the organizer.

PRIZE CEREMONY

We will award the winners of KRKA Ultra Challenge 2019 on the evening Sunday Oct 6 @ Skradin beach Finish line area.
