25th St. Euphemia Swimming Marathon, 1500m and 3000m

Location: Valdaliso Bay in Rovinj

Schedule:

• 09:00 - 10:30 Registration of competitors
• 10:30 - 10:50 Start of the children's race Figarolica
• 11:00 Start of the Small Figarola race at 1500m and the Big Figarola race at 3000m
• 11:15 Announcement of the children's race winners.
• 13:00 Official end of the race (stop timing the swimmers)
• 13:30 Lunch, award ceremony

Location: The start and finish of the race are in the sea in front of the beach of the Martin Horvat Special Hospital for Orthopedics and Rehabilitation in Rovinj, near the indoor city pool. Lunch and the award ceremony will take place in the small park next to the beach. Marathon participants can park in the parking lot to the right of the main entrance to the hospital, which is just a few minutes' walk from the beach where the race starts.

Course Small Figarola 1500m: Circular course 1500m

Course Big Figarola 3000m: Circular course 2 x 1500m

Course Figarolica 50m : Children's races for birth years 2014. and younger

Registration: Registration for 1500m or 3000m is done through the Stotinka timing system (www.stotinka.hr). The entry fee is 20 euros per swimmer. The entry fee must be paid by 13.09.2024 (by 23:59) to IBAN HR 25 240 70001128021430, payment description: Sv. Eufemija 2023 - name and surname. Late registrations of competitors, up to the limit, will be closed 30 minutes before the start.

The registration fee is paid for participation in the big and small marathon, and registrations are possible before the race itself.

Registration for children's race is from 9 to 10:30 at a separate stand. There is no entry fee for children's races.

Children can only participate with a signed statement from a parent/guardian allowing the competitor to participate in the race.

Registration closes on 14.09.2024 (Saturday) at 10:30.

A competitor has the right to participate after paying the registration fee and correctly filling out the online registration form. PK Delfin swimmers do not pay a registration fee.

Awards: The organizer has provided:

• T-shirts and lunch for all participants
• Medals for all marathon participants at 1500m
• Medals for the first three places in the 3000m category
• Trophies for the absolute winners at 1500m and 3000m in male and female categories
• Medals for all girls and boys in the 50 m children's race.

Propositions:

1a. Categories for the 1500m race:

• No announcement by category, only the absolute male and female winners will be announced

1b. Categories for the 3000m race:

• Announcement of the absolute male and female winners and category winners:
  • Category up to 15 years (2024-2009) (M/F)
• Category 16-19 years (2008-2005) (M/F)
• Category 20-29 years (2004-1995) (M/F)
• Category 30-39 years (1994-1985) (M/F)
• Category 40-49 years (1984-1975) (M/F)
• Category 50-59 years (1974-1965) (M/F)
• Category 60 years and older (1964-1924) (M/F)

Men and women compete simultaneously, but the results are evaluated separately.

2. Each competitor takes full responsibility for their participation (by signing), which is not transferable to the race committee, even in case of force majeure.
3. Each competitor signs a GDPR statement on the registration form.
4. For competitors under 18 years of age, a parent or guardian guarantees by signing the statement.
5. Competitors must not touch a boat during the race, cut the course, have contact with the shore or other swimmers – the use of goggles or a mask without a snorkel is allowed.
6. Upon reaching the finish line, it is necessary to touch the finish board with your hand and show the start number written on the shoulder to the judges at the finish.
7. The race committee has the right to amend and supplement these propositions.
8. Marathon results and photos will be published on our website rovinjswim.com and on the website www.stotinka.hr
