ORGANIZATION
The DŠOF Aquatlon Medium 100m swimming + 1km running is organized by the agency Break a Leg, in cooperation with the Tourist Board of Šibenik-Knin County and the Tourist Board of Rogoznica. DŠOF Aquatlon Medium starts on Sunday, September 22, 2024, at 2:00 PM, at Lozica beach in Rogoznica.
PARTICIPATION CONDITIONS
All those aged 11 to 15 years old who meet the following conditions can participate in the DŠOF Aquatlon Medium 100m swimming + 1km running:
- Have a signed permission to participate from a parent or guardian (LINK TO FORM)
- Have registered for the race (completed online form at www.stotinka.hr + payment of entry fee)
By registering and paying the entry fee, competitors directly agree to compete at their own risk, acknowledge familiarity with the rules and regulations of the competition, as well as the possible risks involved, and waive the possibility of transferring liability to the race organizer, as well as to other competitors or third parties. By registering, competitors confirm that they are in suitable psycho-physical condition appropriate for this type of competition.
START PACKAGES
Start package pickup is organized at the main location - Lozica beach in Rogoznica, on Sunday, September 22, from 12:00 to 1:30 PM.
Start package contents: race number, competition t-shirt, storage bag for personal items in the locker room, sponsor gifts. To collect the start package and number, presentation of a personal ID is mandatory. Pickup of the start number for another person is only possible with the presentation of the personal ID of the registered individual.
COMPETITION NUMBERS
Each competitor receives their own race number. The organizer writes the number on the arm of each competitor with a waterproof marker, and each competitor is required to keep their race number for later retrieval of personal items, as well as for meals after the race.
MANDATORY EQUIPMENT
By registering, competitors declare that they are familiar with the list of MANDATORY EQUIPMENT:
- Swimwear (natural, FINA-certified skinsuits, and triathlon suits)
- Running shoes
- During the running segment, it is mandatory to wear a shirt or jersey
COMPETITION DESCRIPTION/TIMING
DŠOF Aquatlon Medium 100m swimming + 1km running competition starts at Lozica beach in Rogoznica. Competitors swim 100m in the sea, within a marked zone, then exit the sea and continue running 1km along a designated path. The competition results will be published immediately after the competition on the website www.stotinka.hr.
ROUTE CHANGES
The organizer reserves the right to make changes to the route, according to weather conditions, without prior notice.
ENTRY FEE PAYMENT
By paying the entry fee, competitors confirm acceptance of these rules, and the registration is considered valid.
In case of non-attendance at the competition, the paid fee will not be refunded.
REFRESHMENTS
Meal and beverage will be provided for competitors upon presentation of their race number after the race.
WARDROBE
Wardrobe for storing personal belongings during the competition will be provided near the starting line and will be available for competitors at the finish line. Storage is only possible in the bag provided as part of the start package and upon presentation of the race number at drop-off and pick-up. NATURE PROTECTION
The race takes place in nature, therefore it is mandatory to adhere to basic rules of nature and environmental protection and to respect behavior rules in protected natural areas. Competitors must not pollute the environment or throw waste into the sea during the competition.
Let's be mindful of nature, preserve it, and enjoy it in its most beautiful form!
MEDIA FREEDOM CONSENT
By registering for the competition, competitors agree that all recorded film and photographic material may be publicly displayed and used for promotional purposes of the race. The competition organizer retains all rights to use, copy, and distribute all recorded video and photo materials.
PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION
On May 25, 2018, the so-called GDPR or European Regulation for the Protection of Personal Data came into force, which determines how and under what conditions data submitted to a third party may or may not be used. Of course, this concerns us as well, who collect your data for the purpose of registering for the competition, so please keep the following in mind:
- We will only use the data we receive from you for the purpose of your registration for the competition. We will publicly disclose this data only in two cases - publication of the start list of competitors and publication of competition results. Since the competition itself would not make sense without your data and they are posted online solely for your information, they are used voluntarily according to regulations, and their publication is permitted.
- When registering via the www.stotinka.hr system, in order to continue filling out the data, you must agree to the terms of use, which includes GDPR regulations. If you have any objections to the publication of your data in the form of start and finish lists, please contact us so we can remove you from them. However, by doing so, the purpose of your participation in the competition is lost, and you forfeit your ranking in it, but we are obliged to do so if you request it.
- From the moment of your registration for the competition until the competition itself, you will receive several emails from us with information related to the organization of the competition and registration for it, but all still in the context of your voluntary participation in it.
- The data that will be publicly available before the competition are: your name, your club, your country, and the competition you are registering for. Other data such as your date of birth, email address, home address, city, and all other requested data, remain in our database until the end of the competition, for the purpose of intervention towards the competitor in case of unforeseen circumstances. Data are deleted after the competition, and only the results are publicly displayed, which include data: your race number, name, country, club, category, gender, and ranking.
- We may not and will not use your data for other purposes or sell them to third parties for remarketing purposes.
