Prijavljeni tekmovalci

Kad bi pitali ljude da opišu staze Absolute Biokovo Challenge-a u nekoliko kratkih riječi većina bi vjerojatno upotrijebila ove riječi: nevjerojatni pogledi, strmo, teško, oduzima dah, divlje, Biokovo nikad ne razočara.

Međutim ni te riječi nisu dovoljne da prenesu ljepotu, divljinu i magiju jedne od najljepših i najviših planina u Hrvatskoj. Utrka prolazi najdojmljivijim predjelima planine koji su ujedno i dijelovi Parka prirode.  Penje se i spušta strmim stazama uklesanim i uzidanim kroz same litice, vijuga malim grebenima između vrtača, provlači se kroz šumu bora, bukve i planinskog javora…

Utrka starta iz Brela, s razine mora,gdje nakon jednog kilometra na morskoj šetnici staza ide iznad Brela na 200 godina staru Napoleonovu cestu koja je zaštićeno kulturno dobro RH. Nakon nekoliko stotina metara s Napoleonove ceste silazi se na singletrack do malog podbiokovskog sela Topići odakle se strmim usponom penje na predio Pakline – poznat po stoljetnoj šumi crnog 
bora. Dugim spustom kroz šumu dolazi se na Sokolove Staje, prve okrepe I kontrolne točke na oko 12.6 km (vremenski limit). 

Od okrepe, preko crkvice Sv. Nikole počinje uspon u vršni dio Biokova, preko skloništa Kale (1450 m/nm) do vrha Šćirovac (1619 m/nm) koji je poznat kao najnedostupniji vrh u Hrvatskoj. Od Šćirovca, preko prijevoja 
Vraca do crkvice Sv. Ilije, prolazi se možda najdomljivijim grebenom u Hrvatskoj. Na Sv. Iliji je okrepa samo s vodom na kojoj je maksimalna dozvoljena količinina pola litre po trkaču. Od Sv.Ilije je dugi spust do podbiokovskog sela Bast, gdje se nalazi druga okrepa i kontrolna točka, na oko 29km (vremenski limit). Od Basta , staza nekoliko kilometara slijedi panoramsku biokovsku stazu na makadamu do predjela Miletin bor gdje je treća okrepa I kontrolna točka, gdje opet skreće strmo uskom stazicom uz stijenu Borovca sve do planinarske kuće Slobodan Ravlić – Lokva (1445 m/nm). 

Od Lokve, staza vijuga preko uskih grebena između vrtača do ceste ispod Sv. Jure gdje je četvrta okrepa I kontrolna točka (vremenski limit). Od tu, strmim usponom penje se do najvišeg biokovskog vrha – Sv. Jure (1762 m/nm odakle puca nevjerojatan pogled na sve strane. Od Sv Jure, staza se preko troglavskih grebena (možda i najfotogeničniji dio staze, pa se pripremite za fotografa) spušta do planinarske kuće Pod Vošcem gdje 
je cilj.  

Staza je iznimno fizički i tehnički zahtjevna te je zbog toga ograničen broj natjecatelja na 45, a da bi se moglo nastupiti na utrci potrebno je minimalno 420 ITRA performance bodova, ili da je natjecatelj završio utrku slične zahtjevnosti, a nije bodovana po ITRA-i (organizator ima pravo procjene i odluke o dopuštanju nastupa). Vremenski limit za završiti utrku je 14 sati. 

Staza ima certifikat International Skyrunning Federacije, što je uz stazu Sky čini jedinom Skyrunning utrkom u Hrvatskoj.

– Prijevoz natjecatelja iz Makarske na start u Brela – NIJE uključeno u cijenu startnine, 5 eur na licu mjesta. 
– Prijevoz stvari sa starta u Brelima do cilja na Vošcu – uključeno u cijenu startnine 
– Prijevoz natjecatelja s cilja na Vošcu do Makarske nakon utrke– uključeno u cijenu. O rasporedu polazaka biti ćete obaviješteni na vrijeme. 

Vremenski limiti: 

– Sokolove staje (prva okrepa): 12.5 km, 09:30 (3 sata od starta) 
– Bast (druga okrepa): 29km, 15:00 (8:30 sati od starta) 
-  cesta pod Sv Jurom 39.6 km, 18:15 (11:45 sati od starta) 
- PK Pod Vošcem (cilj): 45.5 km, 20:30 (14 sati od starta)
